Block Yard Studio

Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Block Yard Studio, operated by Brian Taylor in Colorado, USA. By creating an account or using blockyardstudio.com, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. If you use Block Yard Studio for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@blockyardstudio.com if you think someone else has used it.

3. Your work is yours

You own everything you create or upload: projects, sets, shots, scripts, audio and files ("your content"). You give us permission only to store, process and display your content as needed to run the service for you. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it to train AI models.

You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload, including set models and audio.

4. Fair use of the service

Please don't:

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Storage limits

Each account has a storage allowance for files such as set models, audio and project versions. The app shows how much you have used. We may change allowances, and we'll give reasonable notice before reducing one.

6. Other services you connect

Some features use services from other companies, such as ElevenLabs, with your own account and API key. Your use of those services is under their terms, and any charges they make are between you and them.

7. Third-party materials

The app includes open-source software and assets, such as the Mannequiny character (CC BY 4.0, GDQuest, Luciano Muñoz and contributors). They are listed under Credits in the app and remain under their own licenses.

8. The service can change

Block Yard Studio is actively developed. Features may be added, changed or removed. We aim to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own copies of important projects (File › Save to computer).

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account › Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, or end the service with reasonable notice so you can download your projects.

10. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

11. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Block Yard Studio and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

12. If there's a dispute

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll notify account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
